Nothing like a tasty snack of crispy chicken fingers whilst your are watching your favorite show or just spending some time with your loved ones.
Ingredients:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
Instructions:
- Slice the chicken breasts into strips.
- In a shallow bowl, beat the eggs.
- In a separate shallow bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, oregano, and cayenne pepper.
- Dip the chicken strips in the egg, then dredge them in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
- Place the panko bread crumbs in a third shallow bowl. Dip the chicken strips in the egg mixture again, then in the panko crumbs.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the chicken strips in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 4 minutes per side. Remove to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
- Serve the chicken fingers hot with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
