Crispy Chicken Fingers

Nothing like a tasty snack of crispy chicken fingers whilst your are watching your favorite show or just spending some time with your loved ones.

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. Slice the chicken breasts into strips.
  2. In a shallow bowl, beat the eggs.
  3. In a separate shallow bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, oregano, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Dip the chicken strips in the egg, then dredge them in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  5. Place the panko bread crumbs in a third shallow bowl. Dip the chicken strips in the egg mixture again, then in the panko crumbs.
  6. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  7. Cook the chicken strips in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 4 minutes per side. Remove to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
  8. Serve the chicken fingers hot with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
